A LotRO Cosmetic History

A surprise hunterly turn

For once, the hunter has ‘decided’ to dress more like a hunter. I swapped out the leggings and boots and changed the dyes to a combination of earthy brown and mossy green. No cloak, as it always looks in the way…and as all the cloaks I’ve found are too flashy.

Head: Hill-man’s Cracked Leather Helm, umber (quest reward, Dunland)
Shoulders: Hill-man’s Cracked Leather Shoulder Guards, grey (quest reward, Dunland)
Chest: Campaigner’s Armour, ranger green (L42 medium crafted)
Hands: Hill-man’s Cracked Leather Gauntlets, umber (quest reward, Dunland)
Legs: Hill-man’s Cracked Leather Leggings, ranger green (quest reward, Dunland)
Feet: Hill-man’s Cracked Leather Boots, umber (quest reward, Dunland)

I only realized while typing this post that I wound up picking pieces all from one set, though I’d debated on different boots & leggings. (The Brushed Combat Boots from before would work well here, too.) I suppose it would sound more interesting if I had picked pieces that look the same but have different names (the same looks tend to show up in quest reward options a couple times each in Dunland, under different names with different stats; the Hill-man’s set is from the Bonevales, iirc).

Anyway, I had fun with screenshots:
